About This Event

Real estate professionals often work alone, meet unfamiliar people, enter vacant properties, and find themselves in situations where awareness and preparation matter. In recognition of REALTOR® Safety Month, Doris Williams will lead a practical session focused on helping agents feel more prepared and confident while conducting business in the field. The class will explore situational awareness, recognizing potential warning signs, preventing and de-escalating uncomfortable situations, maintaining safe positioning, setting personal boundaries, and responding when a situation becomes threatening. Through discussion, demonstrations, interactive exercises, and real-world scenarios, agents will learn practical strategies they can incorporate into showings, open houses, client meetings, and their everyday routines. The goal isn't to make agents fearful—it's to help them become more aware, intentional, and prepared.
